Astra is a lightweight, highly customisable WordPress theme built by Brainstorm Force, a company founded in 2009 and based in Pune, India. The theme launched in 2017 and has since become one of the most installed themes on WordPress.org, largely because it loads fast, stays out of the way, and works cleanly with Elementor, Beaver Builder, and the block editor.

The core theme is free. Astra Pro starts at around $49 per year and unlocks the full set of layout, header, and WooCommerce modules. Most buyers take one of the bundles instead: the Essential and Growth bundles add the Starter Templates library and Brainstorm Force's other plugins, and run to roughly $179 and $249 a year.

The affiliate program pays a flat 30% commission per sale, and because the bundles are priced high, a single referral can be worth up to $270. Commissions are paid on new sales rather than renewals, and the program is run in-house with a real-time dashboard and a dedicated affiliate manager.

Two terms are worth reading carefully before you commit: the tracking cookie runs 60 days, but the payout threshold is unusually steep at $210 and a minimum of 2 referrals before Brainstorm Force will release a payment. Payouts are monthly via PayPal.
