Canva is a browser-based design tool that lets people without design training produce presentations, social posts, videos, and print material from templates. It was founded in 2013 by Melanie Perkins, Cliff Obrecht, and Cameron Adams and is based in Sydney, Australia. It has since grown into one of the most widely used creative tools in the world, with a heavy push into AI-assisted design.

The free tier is substantial and is what most people use. Canva Pro costs roughly $15 per month or around $120 billed annually, adding the premium asset library, brand kits, background removal, and the fuller set of AI tools. Teams and Enterprise plans sit above that.

The Canva affiliate program pays a one-time bounty per qualifying Pro subscription, commonly reported in the region of $30 to $36 for an annual plan, with monthly signups worth less. Commission is paid on plan signups only, not on free registrations, and the program runs on the Impact network with a 30-day last-click cookie.
