beehiiv is a newsletter platform that handles publishing, subscriber growth, and monetisation in one place. It was founded in 2021 by Tyler Denk, Benjamin Hargett, and Jake Hurd, all early employees at Morning Brew who had already scaled a newsletter to millions of readers. The company is based in New York City.

There is a genuinely usable free plan, and paid tiers start at around $39 per month. Higher tiers add automations, custom domains, premium subscriptions, and access to the ad network that pays writers to run sponsorships.

The beehiiv Partner Program pays up to 50% commission on referred subscriptions for the first 12 months, which makes it one of the more generous recurring programs in the email marketing category. Anyone on an active beehiiv plan can join, including users still on a free trial.

Tracking runs on Rewardful with a 60-day cookie, so a reader who signs up weeks after clicking still counts. Payouts are processed on the 15th of each month for the previous month's earnings and are paid via PayPal.
